Our new 22 passengers barge - Lafayette

We are pleased to introduce you to the latest barge joining our fleet!

Lafayette has been built in 1958. This classic Dutch passenger barge has been converted to today's standards of comfort in 1985 and has been re-furbished again two years ago. Like L'Estello, she is also a two-level barge. Plenty of light, airy, and a capacity for 22 guests.

Dimensions: 39 meters long, 5,05 meters wide

Lafayette can accommodate a maximum 22 guests in 12 cabins.

For your enjoyment, we have bicycles, fishing rods, an Ipod docking station and a home entertainment system.

E-mail facilities are available. Guided tours are given in an air-conditioned Mercedes van.

Also this barge is owner-operated. The crew is multi-lingual. They speak fluent English, but if you wish, will speak French with you.

The large and inviting lounge/dining area has plenty of natural light, warm wood and provencal colors.

Opposite of the bar, there are tables and arm chairs, if you wish you can bring these outside.

The barge is air-conditioned throughout, the cabins have each their own air-conditioning unit.

Lafayette's large deckspace is devided in two. Half of this space is covered and has an insulated ceiling, the other half is uncovered.

There are 12 ligt and airy guest cabins. each with their own full bathroom.

Four cabins have a double bed, six cabins have twin beds and there are two single bed cabins.

All cabins are light and airy, each with two opening portholes. There is ample storage. The barge provides hairdryers.

The bathroom has a separate shower, and also an opening porthole.

Our Barge - L'Estello

We took great pride in preserving and respecting the graceful, traditional lines of our barges.

L'Estello has been built in 1937. This classic Dutch passenger barge has been converted to today's standards of comfort. Her inviting atmosphere will make you feel immediately comfortable.

Dimensions: 128 ft. long, 17 ft. beam

L'Estello can accommodate a maximum of twenty guests in ten cabins.

For your enjoyment, we have bicycles, fishing rods, an Ipod docking station and a home entertainment system.

E-mail facilities are available. Guided tours are given in air-conditioned mini vans.

This barge is owner-operated. The crew is multi-lingual. They speak fluent English, but if you wish, will speak French with you.

The dining area, also with large picture windows, has comfortable seating.

L'Estello has ten bedrooms.

Nine bedrooms have twin beds, one bedroom has a double bed, each with their own full bathroom. The average cabin size is 72 sq fr. All cabins have air-condioning. There is ample storage. The barge provides hairdryers.
